It is also possible to use Safes in your cloud storage. This allows you to synchronize Safes easily between several PCs and also to encrypt files you store in your cloud. Steganos Safe currently supports Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive & MagentaCLOUD.
Creating a cloud Safe
To create a cloud Safe you need to first install the desktop application of your cloud provider and connect it to your cloud account.
When your cloud account is set up, create a new Safe and select "Cloud Safe". Select your cloud provider and follow the instructions.
After the Safe has been created, the desktop application of your cloud provider will synchronize the Safe file with your cloud storage. As soon as it has been fully synchronized, you can then use it on other PCs where both the Safe program and your cloud program are installed and synchronized with your cloud storage.
Please note: Currently only Dropbox supports the selective synchronization of recent changes of a file. If you are using OneDrive, MagentaCLOUD or Google Drive, the whole Safe file will be synchronized whenever the content of the Safe is changed. For this reason, you should only use relatively small Safes when not using Dropbox.
